For mental health professionals
Our services
Many mental health professionals never receive proper training in dissociation and depersonalisation — despite how common these experiences are in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
That’s why the Midlands Dissociation & Depersonalisation Centre was founded by Dr Emma Černis, a clinical psychologist and world leader in dissociation research.
If you’re looking to strengthen your knowledge, boost your confidence, or improve care for dissociative clients, we can help:
Supervision
We can support you over a course of therapy sessions whilst you work with dissociation & depersonalisation, if you are a qualified clinical psychologist or CBT therapist.
Supervision offers space to:
Explore case formulations and stuck points
Build confidence in working with dissociative symptoms
Integrate current research into your therapeutic approach
55 mins | £130
(£110 for clinicians working in NHS or charity)
85 mins group supervision | please enquire
Consultation
Need expert input on a dissociative (or possibly dissociation-related) clinical case?
If you’re looking for a second opinion or a dissociation-aware perspective, we offer one-off 25 or 55 minute consultations via phone or video call.
A consultation may help if you are:
Stuck with a dissociative presentation
Unsure how to interpret a client’s symptoms
Wanting advice that bridges research and clinical reality

a half-day specialist clinical skills workshop for CBT therapists and clinical psychologists
or something in between.
